The Sacrament of Matrimony is the covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership for the whole of life and which is ordered by its nature to the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. This natural union, ordained by God since the beginning, has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament between the baptized.

It is our great joy to welcome those couples seeking to be united by God in holy matrimony, and we are happy to accompany them during the preparations for their wedding day. The following links will provide all the information necessary to get started. We recommend that you contact the parish office at least 9 months before the desired wedding date to schedule an appointment with the priest.

“By the Sacrament of Matrimony, husband and wife are strengthened and consecrated for the faithful accomplishment of their proper duties, for the carrying out of their proper vocation even to perfection, and the Christian witness which is proper to them before the whole world.”

–Pope Paul VI, Humanae Vitae
