Religious Education is a ministry of the Catholic Church. Nativity Parish assists families in Catholic faith formation and in sacramental preparation for Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.
The Archdiocese of Miami requires two consecutive years of preparation for First Holy Communion and two years of preparation for Confirmation. Nativity Parish Religious Education Program offers two consecutive years of preparation for First Holy Communion as well as for Confirmation preparation. Our curriculum is based on Scripture, Roman Catholic doctrine, prayer, spirituality, traditions and principles in an age-appropriate setting and is approved by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. We want to ensure that our students are receiving the best religious education possible.
The effectiveness of our program assumes respect and cooperation between the students, parents and our staff. All staff and volunteers are screened according to the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Miami Safe Environment Program.
Registration for 2026-2027 will be open from June 15 through August 15, 2026. Annual registration is required prior to your child attending classes. Late registration forms will not be accepted. Please remind family and friends to register early.
Tuition is $125.00 for your first child and $30.00 for each additional child. The tuition payment is due at the time of registration. *
Nativity’s Religious Education Program is held on Sunday mornings. We offer two sessions, one before the 9:30a.m. mass and one after the mass so students may attend and participate in the Mass since they are required to attend weekly.
Classes begin on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Communion preparation classes are scheduled Sundays from 8:00a.m. – 9:15a.m.
Confirmation preparation classes are scheduled Sundays from 10:45a.m. – 12:00p.m.
